Dear Parents and Carers,

Today’s Curriculum Day provided a valuable opportunity for our staff to engage deeply with the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model (VTLM) 2.0, with a particular focus on explicit teaching, cognitive load theory and the latest research on effective instructional practices. Staff also reviewed our recent Learning Walk feedback and staff survey data, which will inform our collective work moving forward. Staff also began to prepare for our School Review which will take place in Term 4. It was a productive and insightful day that reinforces our ongoing commitment to improving outcomes for all students.

Family, Food and Fun Night fundraising

I was delighted to share with our School Council recently that the Family, Food and Fun Night raised $10, 913. These funds will be used to purchase classroom resources including reading materials, manipulatives and regulation tools, and enhance outdoor learning spaces; all of which directly benefits our students.

We once again extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who donated items, time or resources to help make the night such a success. Your generosity and community spirit are truly appreciated, and we are so proud of what we can achieve when we work together.

Jump Rope For Heart

Boneo Primary School has currently raised just over $1,000 for the Heart Foundation!

Buddy Program

This week, the Buddy Liaison’s planned, prepared and led an activity with the Preps and their Year 6 Buddies focusing on important people in our lives.

FUSE CUP Excursion – TREC – Just dance eSports tournament! 

We are incredibly proud of our students who represented Boneo Primary School at the FUSE Cup! Our students demonstrated outstanding teamwork and digital citizenship while competing against other schools in a fun and engaging setting. Congratulations to all participants for embracing the challenge and showcasing our school in a positive way!
