 We are thrilled to report that the first week back has been exceptionally positive, with all students settling into their new classes smoothly. It’s heartening to witness the enthusiasm and positive energy among our students as they embrace this year.

We understand that transitions can sometimes be challenging, and we want to reassure you that our dedicated staff is here to support your child’s adjustment. If your child requires any additional support or assistance in settling into their new class, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Leadership Assembly

Our Leadership Assembly is a special occasion where Year 6 Leaders will be honoured with their leadership badges. Additionally, Junior School Council leaders from across the school will be recognised. We invite all parents to join us for this memorable event.

Family Food and Fun Night

Date: Friday, 15th March

Our pinnacle event of the year, the Family Food and Fun Night, is fast approaching. Save the date and make sure to join us for an evening filled with joy, delicious food, and entertaining activities. We are reaching out to parents to volunteer as class convenors to assist with stall coordination. If you are interested in contributing to the success of this event, please email your child’s teacher and express your willingness to volunteer.

Your active involvement and support make a significant difference in creating a vibrant and engaging school community. We look forward to your participation in these upcoming events and appreciate your continued collaboration.

Parent Information Evening

Our Parent Information Evening will be held onsite on Wednesday 7th February, where you can hear all about the program on offer for the children. Year level times have been set so that parents and carers of multiple children should be able to attend all sessions.

A coffee van will be available on the basketball courts for parents to get themselves a FREE coffee to enjoy while waiting for their sessions.

Boneo Reserve Drainage

I am excited to announce that works will commence to alleviate the flooding and drainage issues around the school. There will be contractors on site conducting ground investigation works from the 5th of February to 23rd of February 2024 at various locations of the Boneo Reserve. Please see the image showing the location in purple boxes. This will be conducted during normal working hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm. There will be no disruptions to school drop offs and school pickups. After the end of each day the areas in purple will be fenced off.

Drainage works are anticipated to commence on the 26th of February 2024 and be completed by 15th April 2024. There will be heavy machinery on site for the installation of the drainage pipeline, however this will be conducted during the first week of works (26th February – 01st March 2024). The works will be conducted from 8:00am to 4:00pm with traffic management on site to safely divert traffic from the area. I have been informed that there will be no disruptions to normal school activities and no disruptions to school drop offs and pickups.
