Boneo Buzz: Friday 20th September
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we all head into a well-deserved term break, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on just how many amazing learning opportunities our staff planned for our students and how much we have all achieved together. During this term, our Prep students celebrated 100 days of school and they also got to share an afternoon at school with their dad or special person. As a whole school, we enjoyed our Book Week, ‘Reading is Magic’ celebration, which included a colourful Book Week parade, and our Year 6 students entertained us with their performance of ‘Finding Nemo Jr.’ We finished the term with our traditional Footy Day and Special Lunch.
Students have worked hard throughout the term to make growth with their learning and have successfully embraced a range of learning opportunities. I thank them all for their efforts. I also want to take this opportunity to thank all of our families for your unwavering support and dedication to our wonderful school. Thank you also to our staff who go above and beyond every day.
I wish you all a safe and happy holiday and look forward to seeing everyone again on the first day back of Term 4; Monday 7 October.

Trivia Night Success
Thank you to everyone who was able to join us at the Boneo Primary School Trivia Night.
The Trivia Night was an overwhelming success and a lot of fun. On behalf of the school and our School Council, I want to extend a warm thank you to Lee Beckett and Matt Davies, who hosted the evening. With their wit and charm, the Trivia Night was filled with friendly competition and laughter.
Principal for a Day
Oaks Day 2024 – Save the date!
Our Oaks Day event, to be held at ‘The National’ Cape Schanck, is fast approaching so save the date – Thursday 7th November!
We look forward to hosting our extended school community for another fabulous day out. Event and booking details to be shared soon…..Spread the word and start gathering a table in support of our school.
We are currently sourcing donations for the event and are hoping parents can help us to secure silent auction items and donations by approaching local businesses. If everyone secures a sponsor we will have plenty to offer on the day! The majority of funds raised on the day are through auctions and raffles and our local business community have always been an outstanding contribution to our school.
