Boneo Buzz 28th March

Dear Parents and Carers,

A sincere thank you to our wonderful community for making our annual Family Food and Fun Night last week such a fantastic success! It was incredible to see families come together to enjoy the evening, and we are so thankful to the businesses and families who generously donated their time, products and services to support the event. Funds from this event will be used to purchase classroom resources and go toward a future upgrade to the student toilets. A special thank you to our dedicated staff for their hard work in ensuring a memorable experience for our students, with a special mention to Amanda, Kellie and Sue for all of their work. Your support and enthusiasm make our school a truly special place!

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to all the parents and carers who attended our Parent-Teacher Interviews this week. Your involvement and partnership in your child’s education are appreciated, and these valuable conversations help strengthen the connection between home and school.

Staffing Update

Today we say goodbye to Zoe Newman who has been at Boneo Primary School for over 14 months as an Education Support staff member. Zoe has been a wonderful member of our team, and we will miss her. We wish her all the best in her travels to Darwin. Please see Zoe’s goodbye message:

I’m thrilled to share with our incredible school community that I’ll be taking the rest of the year off to explore beautiful Darwin! This is such a unique opportunity for me, and while I’ll truly miss being around everyone at school, I can’t wait for all the adventures that await.

Thank you so much for all of your support—I’m truly looking forward to coming back and sharing my journey with all of you!

Wishing everyone a fantastic and wonderful year ahead!
