Boneo Buzz: 11th November

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we head into what I sometimes call the ‘manic’ time in a school calendar, where we are all asked to attend way too many events, I want to thank you and apologise in advance for the many Compass notices.

The children are very excited about our Colour Run this coming Thursday. Please make sure children are dressed in old clothes and perhaps a white t-shirt for fun. It will be starting at 2:15 so come and join in the fun. There is still time to create a profile and gather some sponsors.

I joined our proud parents at the Remembrance Day Service held at the Rosebud RSL Cenotaph this morning. This was followed with the presentation of Scholarships to local Primary and Secondary students. We are so proud of our four recipients.

Oaks Day Fundraising Event

It is with much excitement that we announce our Oaks Day event raised over $10,500 for our school.

We are incredibly grateful to our amazing community for their continued support.

This event is a true celebration of both our school and extended community and we thank all who contributed to the success of our 2022 Oaks Day.

Next week is our School Fun Run! The event will kick off Thursday 17th November at 2:15pm on the oval. We look forward to seeing the students get involved.

We’d love to see you down there on the day cheering the kids on… Everyone’s invited!

Please remember to keep collecting donations, so we will be able to renew our senior school playground.

Year 3 STEM

This term in STEM, we are learning about some of the smallest creatures on Earth, minibeasts. This week it was the Year 3’s turn to explore the school gardens. Using our bug catching equipment, they found and cared for minibeasts in their habitats.
