Boneo Buzz: 27th May

Dear Parent and Carers,

It was such a delight to have so many parents able to join us on Wednesday for Share the Joy of Learning and participate in writing classes. The children were thrilled to share their learning with you. I want to congratulate our students in Years 3 and 5 who finally completed the NAPLAN assessments. Marija Pandza worked tirelessly to ensure that the children who were away had the opportunity to complete the assessments.

Year 3 Camp to the Briars – Thursday 2nd June to Friday 3rd June

Whole School Math Challenge – Monday 6th June

Junior School Council Pyjama Day – Tuesday 7th June (Gold Coin Donation)

Professional Practice Day – Friday 10th June (Students not required at school)

District Cross Country

On Wednesday, 50 students represented the school at District Cross Country at Truemans Road Reserve. It was a very good course but also challenging in some parts. It was so impressive that every student completed the race and tried their hardest. All of our students did us proud both during their race and as spectators.

Congratulations to the following 8 students who have made it through to the Inter-school Division Cross Country held at Hastings Foreshore on Tuesday 31st May. Well done to these students who all came in the top 10: Flyn B, Charlotte R, Harry S, Elizabeth J, Amaia H, Noah R, Adele T and Ari W.
