Dear Parents and Carers,

Each year, the school conducts a Parent Opinion survey amongst a sample of our school community. This year, all parents have been invited to participate. Results will be used to inform and direct our future school planning and improvement. As of today, only 13% of our families have participated.

Last week, each family received a letter which outlined how to log on and access the survey using a personal family pin. Please take the time to complete the survey as your opinions are important to us and will contribute to the future management and organisation of our school.

The survey will be conducted online and should take 20 minutes to complete.

The survey can be completed on any internet enabled device (iPad, Desktop or Laptop, Smartphone) and is compatible with most browsers.

The survey will be open from Monday 12 October to Friday 13 November 2020.

Please be assured that your responses are completely confidential. The survey is conducted anonymously, and it is important to us that you complete the survey as honestly as possible. If you have misplaced your letter, please contact the school.

NOTE: Only one parent from your family is invited to complete the survey.

Wellbeing Focus

There are a range of activities that will help build and maintain our students’ wellbeing. We have a range of strategies and tools being implemented to support our students to maintain and build their wellbeing.

This week:

Our lunchtime clubs, organised by staff are a huge success.
A number of students are participating in the Canine Comprehension Therapy Program sponsored by our Shire.
The school came alive with colours of every team for our annual Footy Day.

STEM Learning with Akash our Monash University Engineer

Every Monday, Akash works with our students to expand our capacity to deliver stimulating, enriching and future-focused STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) learning experiences. This week Akash worked with Prep and Year 3.

Boneo School Fun Run
