Boneo Buzz: 20th December

I am filled with immense gratitude and pride as I reflect on the remarkable journey we have had together. This year has been nothing short of exceptional, marked by significant milestones and the unwavering support of our incredible community.

First and foremost, I extend my heartfelt thanks to each one of you who contributed to the grand success of our 150th Birthday Celebration. The enthusiasm and spirit displayed during the festivities truly showcased the deep pride and love we all share for Boneo Primary School. The memories created will undoubtedly linger for generations to come, and it is a testament to the strong bonds that tie us together as a community.

I would also like to express my gratitude to the dedicated members of our community who have been volunteering at the Boneo Community Market each month. Your commitment to this major fundraiser has not only fostered a sense of community spirit but has also played a crucial role in our fundraising efforts. This year, through your hard work and generosity, we have managed to raise an impressive $18,000.

A special acknowledgment goes out to Sarah Brown (Mother of Maisie and Dylan), whose tireless efforts behind the scenes have been instrumental in coordinating the Boneo Market on behalf of the school. Sarah, your dedication and passion have not gone unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for your exceptional contribution. As we look ahead, we are in search of another parent volunteer who can also step into this vital role and assist Sarah. If you are interested or know someone who might be, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Our School Council members deserve a round of applause for their commitment to driving the improvement of our school. Their monthly meetings and collaborative efforts have played a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our school.

A heartfelt thank you also goes out to our outstanding staff who work tirelessly day in and day out to enhance the academic and well-being of our students. Your passion for education and commitment to nurturing the potential of each child is truly commendable, and we are fortunate to have such a dedicated team.

Last but certainly not least, a word of appreciation for our magnificent students. Your energy, curiosity, and accomplishments bring us joy each day. It is a privilege to witness your growth and achievements, and you are the heart and soul of our school.

As we look forward to a well-deserved break, I extend my warm wishes to you and your families for a joyous holiday.

Thank you for making this year truly exceptional and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
