Boneo Buzz: 1st May

Dear Parents and Guardians,

A huge round of applause to our community. Families and staff have indicated that they are establishing strong routines and feeling more confident with home-school balance.

I am excited to announce that our Monday Assembly will be totally designed and recorded by our talented students. It was wonderful to have community support this week; so many students joined in the fun sending ‘Coops Tricks’ footage which we are all excited to see on Monday.

Please participate in the Happiness Project outlined below. We would love to feature you in our next Assembly.

Happiness Project – Year 6

To quote one of our students, ‘sometimes all you need in times of darkness is to find the rainbow’.

This quote came from a student in Year 6 after they were encouraged to take a step away from their screens and pursue a project or a skill that they had never tried before and wanted to learn.

Ranging from baking food from scratch, to using wood to create home decor items, our students have embraced this opportunity with open minds and we would like to extend the challenge to our school community.

Find something you can do as an individual or as a family, that gets you away from a screen and challenges you to learn something new. Send us your photos or video and we will feature them at next week’s assembly.
