Dear Parent and Carers,

I want to express my gratitude for the kind emails and best wishes I’ve received since announcing my retirement, which will take effect on Friday, May 17th. Your support and well wishes mean a great deal to me, and I am looking forward to enjoying the coming weeks with our wonderful community.

REMINDERS:

• Our upcoming annual ANZAC/Grandparent, Special Friend Assembly will be held on Monday. The service will commence at 9 am and will be followed by a visit to classes and morning tea in the Boneo Hall. It is always a special occasion, and I hope many of you will be able to join us.
• Please also note that Friday is a Professional Practice Day, and students will not be required to attend. However, Their Care will be operating on Friday to support families who require it.

Whooping Cough

Monash Health South East Public Health Unit has been notified of several outbreaks of whooping cough (pertussis) in schools within our local area. Most cases are within the 10- to 14-year-old age group. Please download and read the whooping cough FAQ sheet from the Monash Health South East Public Health Unit.

On Monday 29th April, we will be holding our annual Boneo Cross Country House Carnival. Students are required to wear their house colours along with appropriate footwear and clothing to participate in. Please see the timetable below for times and distances each age group will be running.
